🧪 Premeditated Cruelty: Conspiracy to Commit a Crime Using Forged Documents.
In disturbing detail, Ishita secured acid as a result of positive action using forged college letterhead from Gyan Ganga College and made a phone call to another holder of (Ishita's) post and acted as a professor . The acid was purchased under the pretense of college practical experiment before the attacker made a surprise ambush.
🚨 Aftermath & Arrest
Shraddha sustained burns to her face, chest, arms, and legs, and is currently hospitalized and in critical but stable condition .
Ishita has been arrested and charged under IPC sections concerning acid attack and attempted murder; and did not appear to feel remorse, even asking police if she would get the death penalty .
Investigators are also currently looking for Ansh Sharma the accomplice who helped bring the assault, and the shopkeeper who sold the acid.
